Sr. Angelita Termini, given name Catherine Mary, was the oldest of ten children - She was unable to continue her schooling after the sixth grade, as she was needed to help support the family during the early years of the depression. was Sister, employed at the Glove Factory in downtown Kansas City for a total of fourteen years until her entrance into the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, in St. Louis, Missouri.
She lived with her uncle, George Termini's family, in Kansas City. This was Sr. Teresa of Avila's family. Sr. Angelita returned to her family on week ends to spend that time with them and also to turn in her small salary.
